Birmingham, AL - Brenda Ladun's Decade Dash to Conquer Cancer, St. Vincent's 119, June 23, 2018

  • The 14th Annual CONQUER CANCER RUN will take place in the late afternoon of Saturday, June 23rd at St. Vincent’s 119. After the 5k run, runners and their families will enjoy the winners ceremony and afterwards celebrate with a southern rock band, while enjoying local craft beers, delicious bites from Birmingham and a Kids Zone with face painting, a bounce house and other fun activities to keep everyone entertained.

Birmingham, AL- Prohibition Party: A Night to Black Out Cancer, Workplay Theatre, March 2, 2018 - 2019 Date TBA

  • After 10 years of “blacking out cancer,” we are excited to shake things up in 2018! With a Roaring Twenties theme, this year’s event has already become quite colorful as our Junior Executive Board members have begun shopping for their glitzy flapper dresses and jazz inspired accessories in colors other than  black! PROHIBITION will take place on Friday, March 2nd, in WorkPlay’s Theatre. This party attracts a crowd of all ages with an anticipated attendance of 300+ people. Festivities begin at 8pm where guests will enjoy complimentary beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres in our speakeasy atmosphere while shopping this year’s decadent silent auction. Guests will continue to enjoy the lavish evening, dancing the night away at this 21+ event.

  • The Montgomery Best Dressed Bash is a young professional gala recognizing 10 male and 10 female young professionals under 40 in the Montgomery community who are cancer survivors, caregivers, community activists, and healthcare professionals in the fight against cancer.

The American Cancer Society is excited to be gettin' down and dirty with Rugged Maniac! Rugged Maniac is a 3.1-mile obstacle course full of thrills and excitement. There are 30 nationwide Rugged Maniac events per year, and now you can fundraise for the American Cancer Society when you sign up. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow ACS Young Professionals while having fun and supporting our favorite cause.
